We collect information you provide directly to us: your name, email address, company name, and billing information when you register for an account or contact us. We also collect usage data, log files, and cookies to improve our service.

We use the information we collect to: provide and improve our services, send service-related communications, process transactions, and comply with legal obligations. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security audits. We use Cloudflare for edge security and DDoS protection.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our platform and store certain information, including your language preference and theme setting. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

5. Third-Party Services

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our service (e.g., payment processors, email providers). These parties have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction — including under the GDPR if you’re in the EU/EEA — you may have the right to access, correct, update, port, or request deletion of your personal information. WP Warden is built with these rights in mind and gives you working, self-service tools for two of them directly from your dashboard, rather than requiring a support request:

• Right to access & data portability: from Settings, account owners can download a complete, structured export of their account’s data — settings, users, clients, sites, backup metadata, activity logs, alerts, and security events — as a single file.
• Right to erasure: from Settings, account owners can permanently delete their account. This cascades through sites, backups, clients, tickets, and logs, and removes locally stored backup files and screenshots from disk, after password and account-name confirmation. Note: backup copies you’ve already pushed to a connected third-party destination (e.g. Google Drive or OneDrive) are managed by that provider and are not automatically deleted as part of this process — you’ll need to remove those separately from the provider directly.
